The new General Regulation for the Protection of Personal Data, approved by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, entered into force on 25/05/2018, and establishes the rules regarding the protection, processing and free movement of personal data of natural persons, being applicable to all entities of the Member States of the European Union that process personal data.
Thus, the company FelizTerra, Lda., In its relationship with its suppliers and partners, is bound by the observance of this new Regulation.
The company is in the process of reviewing its procedures related to the personal data of which it holds, making the collaboration of its suppliers and partners essential to comply with these new legal provisions.
Our records include data that were obtained during the contractual relationships and following several interactions with FelizTerra, Lda ,. and are intended only for the execution of the contract or the object of the interaction / activity.
Thus, whenever personal data are subject to computerized or non-computerized processing and storage, before, during or after the term of the contract, they are intended for the exclusive use of our company services, and when collected are intended to be used for customer management and service provision, accounting, tax and administrative management, human resources management, audits and compliance with legal obligations.
The collected data are kept for different periods of time, depending on the purpose for which they are intended and taking into account legal criteria, necessity and minimization of the conservation time.
As a general rule, the data collected is kept for a period of 10 years after the conclusion of the contract (in the case of the need to be provided to the judicial or administrative authorities in cases where the law requires it. As far as company workers are concerned, the data may be provided to the provider of occupational health services, insurance companies and union entities.
Likewise, the data collected may also be provided to companies that provide accounting, auditing and auditing services, legal services and banking institutions, all of which are obliged to develop the appropriate technical and organizational measures for data protection. and ensure the defense of the rights of the holder in this matter.
In the case of situations in which the data collected do not need to be kept for the purpose of audits or compliance with legal obligations, they are kept for a period of 12 months after the performance of the activity to which they refer, for statistical purposes.
The holder of personal data has the right to access and know the data that is registered about him.
The Data Subject has the right to oppose the Regulation, withdraw consent and exercise the other rights provided for by law (except for data that is indispensable and mandatory to supply or to the fulfillment of legal obligations to which FelizTerra is subject.
Without prejudice to the possibility of complaining to our company, the data subject can file a complaint directly with the national supervisory authority – National Data Protection Commission.
Under the terms enshrined in the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic, the data subject’s right to identity and the integrity of the private life is safeguarded.
