PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION PRIVACY POLICY

The new General Data Protection Regulation, approved by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, entered into force on 25/05/2018, and establishes rules regarding the protection, processing, and free movement of personal data of individuals. It applies to all entities in the European Union Member States that process personal data.


Thus, the company AZIMUTE MIMOSO UNIPESSOAL LDA, in its relationship with suppliers and partners, is also bound by this new Regulation.

The company is currently reviewing its procedures related to the personal data it holds, making the cooperation of its suppliers and partners essential for the compliance with these new legal provisions.


Our records include data obtained through contractual relationships and as a result of various interactions with AZIMUTE MIMOSO UNIPESSOAL LDA, and are intended solely for the execution of the contract or the object of the interaction/activity.


Without prejudice to the lawful processing being carried out in the situations referred to above, under Article 6 of the Regulation, this privacy policy serves to provide all legally required information applicable to the processing of personal data.

Regarding company employees, the data may be provided to the occupational medicine service provider, insurers, and trade unions.


Likewise, the collected data may also be provided to companies that provide us with accounting, auditing, legal services, and banking institutions, all of which are required to implement the appropriate technical and organizational measures for data protection and ensure the defense of the data subject's rights in this regard.


In situations where the collected data does not need to be kept for auditing purposes or compliance with legal obligations, it is kept for a period of 12 months after the activity to which it relates, for statistical purposes.


The data subject has the right to access and know the data registered about them.


The data subject has the right to object to the Regulation, withdraw consent, and exercise other rights provided by law (except for data that is indispensable and mandatory for provision or to comply with legal obligations to which AZIMUTE MIMOSO UNIPESSOAL LDA is subject).

Without prejudice to the possibility of filing a complaint with our company, the data subject may file a complaint directly with the national supervisory authority – the National Data Protection Commission.


The rights to identity and integrity of the private life of the data subject are safeguarded, as provided in the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic.
